Local Farm Bureaus celebrated

- East St. James Farm Bureau Parish President Pete Dufresne recently received recognition at the Louisiana Farm Bureau Convention.
St. John Farm Bureau Parish President Cindy Perret; East St. James Farm Bureau Parish President Pete Dufresne and West St. James Farm Bureau Parish President Greg Gravois recently received recognition at the Louisiana Farm Bureau Convention.

The Star Awards are presented each year to parishes for their accomplishments in sustaining and promoting the farmers and ranchers in Louisiana. Louisiana Farm Bureau President Ronnie Anderson presented the awards, which were 3-Star for Perret, 5-Star for Dufresne and 3-Star for Gravois.
