- The following are the Hahnville High School 2015 Young Authors Contest State Winners. They include, from ninth grade, Hayden Bordelon (2nd Pl. Poetry), Jacelyn Trosclair (1st Pl. Nonfiction), Kaitlyn Stamps (3rd Pl. Fiction), from 10th grade, Gabriel LoCoco (1st Pl. Poetry), Gabriel LoCoco (2nd Pl. Nonfiction), Gabrielle Raby (1st Pl. Fiction), from 11th grade, Savannah Whitney (1st Pl. Poetry), Alyssa Vicknair (1st Pl. Poetry and 1st Pl. Nonfiction), from 12th grade, Carissa Lavin (1st Pl. Poetry) and Julian Turner (3rd Pl. Nonfiction and 3rd Pl. Fiction).
