Residents thanked for their cooperation
DEAR EDITOR: On behalf of the Louisiana State Police Troop C, I, Capt. Mark A. Zeringue,would like to take this opportunity to thank all the agencies for an outstanding job performed during Hurricane Georges.
All agencies involved came together and coordinated with each other to control and effect an orderly and efficient evacuation of the parishes in the Troop C area.
I would also like to thank the citizens and the business people of the Troop C area for obeying and cooperating with all agencies involved during the curfew hours and evacuation.
This strongly proves that when everyone works together, we can safely evacuate everyone in an orderly and timely manner.
Again, I want to express my thanks to everyone involved.
