Amanda Shaw involved in two huge events in St. Charles Parish

Fans of Amanda Shaw will be excited to know that the award winning fiddle player/ songwriter/ singer/ actress is involved in two big events in St. Charles Parish on Sunday, December 7th! A long-time partner of the Hurst Middle Wetland Watchers Service-Learning Project, Amanda will represent the project riding in the Norco Christmas Parade and then at the conclusion of the parade she will formally light the huge Christmas tree at the Capitol One Bank building on Apple Street. Later that evening, Amanda and her band the Cute Guys will be providing entertainment at the Wetlands Reveillon, a fundraiser gala coordinated by students at the St. Charles Parish Satellite Center. All funds raised from the event will go towards construction of nature trails at St. Charles Parish Wetland Watchers Park. This festive event also includes plenty of seafood, silent auctions, drawings, and architect, John Campo is also set to publicly present the plans for Wetland Watchers Park for the first time.

Amanda Shaw will light the Norco Christmas tree located at the Capitol One Bank building on Apple Street following the parade.
