Mr. and Mrs. Alan Malain of LaPlace announce the engagement of theirdaughter, Jaime Lynn Malain, to Darren Paul Heltz.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Farrell “Redbird”Heltz of LaPlace.

The wedding is planned for Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church inReserve. The Rev. Pat Sanders will officiate the ceremony. Attendants for the bride will be Selina Peranio, maid of honor; Penny LeBlanc, matron of honor; bridesmaids Maci Malain, Casey St. Pierre,Ashiley Ocmond, Danielle Paceria, Michelle Heltz and Cheire St. Pierre; andWhitney Weber,flower girl.

Attendants for the groom will be Darrell Heltz, best man; groomsmen Raymond St. Pierre, Chris Paceria, Chris St. Pierre, Kenny LeBlanc, RyanHebert, Shane St. Pierre and Jeffrey Jacob; Kenny St. Pierre, ringbearer;and Timmy Malain and Kenneth LeBlanc, ushers.

Following the wedding ceremony, a reception will be held at the American Legion on River Road in St. Rose.Following a honeymoon trip to Walt Disney World, the couple will reside in LaPlace.Back to Top
