St. James school employees big contributors to United Way

LUTCHER – The St. James Parish United Way campaign generated a record$12,353.82 through 359 individual contributions from the St. JamesParish public school system.
Special commendations were offered to the top contributors in the school system.
The top contributing group was the school board Central Office (46 participants) with $2,464.
The top high school was St. James High School (58 participants) with$2,143. The top elementary school was Fifth Ward Elementary (31participants) with $1,442. The top middle school was St. James JuniorHigh (10 participants) with $474.
Other results included Lutcher Elementary (35 participants) with $1,223.45, Romeville Elementary (44 participants) with $892, GramercyElementary (34 participants) with $841, Vacherie Elementary (25 participants) with $828, Sixth Ward Elementary (24 participants) with $700, Paulina Elementary (13 participants) with $627.17, Lutcher JuniorHigh (25 participants) with $317.20, Vacherie Primary (10 participants)with $280 and Lutcher High School (four participants) with $120.
