BARTHOLOMEW BRIDGE CITY – Cecile Pierre Bartholomew, 95, a native of Edgard and resident of Bridge City for 60 years, died Oct. 27. She was the wife of thelate Lionel Bartholomew Jr. and mother of Oliver, Joseph and the lateJosephine and Lionel Bartholomew.

She was also the daughter of the late Ovide Sr. and Felice Lewis Pierre andsister of the late Julia Smith, Laura Young and Alvin and Ovide Pierre Jr.

She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at Holy Guardian of Angels Catholic Church,Bridge City, with interment at Providence Cemetery, Metairie. Visitationstarts at 9 a.m.

BURRELL EDGARD – Bruno Burrell Sr., 83, a native of Edgard and resident of Lucy for50 years, died Oct. 26. He was the husband of the late Elnora RousselBurrell and father of Marilyn Craig, Olivia Bynum and Bruno Jr. and LeonaMae Burrell.

He was also the son of the late Susthene and Louisa Gauff Burrell and brother of the late Viola Williams, Leona Chandler, Henry Shaun and Susthene Jr., Morris, Guy and Virgie Burrell.He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was a retired Godchaux Sugar employee.

Services were held Oct. 30 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard,with interment at the church cemetery.

EUGINO BATON ROUGE – Dominic “Nick” Eugino, 84, a native of Lutcher and resident of Port Allen, died Oct. 30. He was the husband of Kathleen DixonEugino and father of Judy Whitaker, Billy Cobb and Ben Duhon.

He was also the son of the late Anthony and Mary Grace Eugino and brother of Annie Simmons, Rosalee Blair, Mary DeLatte, Lena Godso, Sam Eugino and the late Carmella, Russell, Peter and an infant sister.

He is also survived by one grandchild.

Graveside services were held Nov. 1 at Dixon Family Cemetery, Liberty,Miss.

JACKSON NEW ORLEANS – Lucille Vauglin Jackson, 93, a native of Killona and a resident of New Orleans for 54 years, died Oct. 26. She was the mother ofAndrew Jackson. She was also the sister of Oliska Martin.She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held Oct. 30 in the chapel of Magee’s Funeral Home, NewOrleans, with interment at Providence Memorial Park.

JACKSON EDGARD – Wilberine “Beana” Jackson, 83, a native and resident of Wallace, died Oct. 28. She was the wife of the late Lester Jackson Sr. and mother ofClara Edwards and Marion, Terrell, Chatman, Isaac, James, Clarence and the late Lester Jackson Jr.

She was also the sister of Lula Clofer, Easter and Wilbert Gordon Sr. andthe late Rebecca Marshall, Edward and Robert Stewart and Isiah, Israel, Isaac Jr., Samuel Sr. and Venus Gordon. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Nov. 1 at New St. Peter Baptist Church, Edgard, withinterment at Woodville Baptist Church Cemetery, Wallace.

JAGOT NEW ORLEANS – Emily Rouillier Jagot, 84, a native of Convent and resident of New Orleans for 75 years, died Oct. 27. She was the wife of the lateJohn Jagot III and mother of Julie Roth and Susan, Donald and the late John Jagot IV.

She was also the daughter of the late Charles and Cecile Bourgeois Rouillier.

She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held Nov. 2 in the chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son FuneralHome, New Orleans, with interment at Hope Mausoleum.

LAQUE PARADIS – Mildred Champagne Laque, 81, a native and resident of Boutte, died Oct. 30. She was the wife of the late Reuben Laque and mother ofBetty Tregre.

She was also the daughter of the late James and Alice Lirette Champagne, and sister of Mabel Schaubhut, Gladys Trauth and Clarence, Milton and the late Wilbert Champagne.

She is also survived by two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services were held Nov. 2 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Paradis,with interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Raceland.

MATHERNE NEW ORLEANS – Lucille M. Kliebert Matherne, 82, a native of Garyville andresident of Harahan, died Oct. 29. She was the wife of the late AdamMatherne.

She was also the daughter of the late Anicet Sr. and Ella Baudrey Kliebertand sister of Doris Gullo, Thelma Vicknair, Margie Maloney and Vernon, Lester and the late Anicet Kliebert Jr.

Services were held Nov. 2 at St. Rita Catholic Church, New Orleans, withinterment at Garden of Memories.

MULLINS LAPLACE – Barney “Moon” Mullins, 73, a native of Des Allemands and resident of LaPlace, died Oct. 31. He was the husband of Rogelle DamonteMullins and father of Babette Marse, Rogelle Barney Jr. and Owen andVanessa Mullins.

He was also the son of the late Barnie and Freda Mullins and brother of Anna Mae Trauth and the late John Mullins.

He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at St. John Presbyterian Church, LaPlace,with interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie. Visitationstarts at 8 a.m.

ZERINGUE MARRERO – Henry Joseph Zeringue, 84, a native of Wallace and resident of Marrero for 50 years, died Oct. 31. He was the husband of the late WinnieAmedee Zeringue and the father of Nelwyn Smith.

He was also the son of the late Henry Sr. and Aimee Kleinbert Zeringue andthe brother of Enola Romer, Gertrude Devore, Irving Zeringue and the late Clare Breaux and Clarence and Lynn Zeringue.

He is also survived by one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held Nov. 2 at Our Lady Catholic Church, Marrero, withinterment at Westlawn Memorial Park, Avondale.
