AUBERT

CONVENT – Laurence Schexnaydre “Une” Aubert, 86, native of Smoke Bend and resident of Convent, died April 3. She was the husbnad of Laurent “Rip”Aubert and the mother of Sonjie Haydel.

She was also the daughter of the late Albert and Cesaire Schexnaydre and sister to Cecile Waguespack, Alda Louviere and the late Mathilda Waguespack and Dennis Schexnaydre.

She is also survived by two grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Convent,with entombment at St. Michael’s Mausoleum, Convent. Visitation begins at 9a.m.

CHOUINARD

NEW SARPY – Patricia Volpi Chouinard, 46, a lifelong resident of New Sarpy, died March 30. She was the wife of Alphonse Chouinard and mother ofTimothy and Alan Volpi.

She was also the daughter of Mamie Volpi and sister of Eddie and Leslie Volpi, Carolyn Neeb, Patsy Haney and Ilene Hoffman.

She is survived by one grandchild.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, St. Rose, with aprivate burial. Visitation begins at 9 a.m.

COLLINS

LAPLACE – Ralph “Rip” E. Collins, 69, native of Missouri and resident ofLaPlace for the past 29 years, died March 30. He was the husband of ChrisCollins and stepfather of Carl Jr., Warren and Travis Baker, BryantStrickland and Tony, Randy and Kevin Johnson.

He was also the brother of Kathreen Winger and Robert Collins.

He is survived by two grandchildren.

Services were held April 3 at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, Laplace, with interment at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace.

DEVARE

LUTCHER – David “Fun” Devare, 58, native of Hester and resident of Lutcher, died April 1. He was the husband of Theresa Devare.He was also the son of Beatrice Devare and the late Rayfield Devare Sr. andbrother of Lillie Mae Russell, Beatrice Fluence, Alma Brown and Elouise, Ida Mae, Joyce, Rayfield Jr., Dave and the late Evelyn Devare.Services are today at 11 a.m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Paulina, withinterment at Antioch Cemetery, Paulina. Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m.

EVERETT

NEW ORLEANS – Doris Waguespack Everett, 83, native of St. John Parish andresident of New Orleans, died April 1. She was the wife of the late John P.Everett and mother of John P. Everett Jr., Lynn Delahaye and MaureenNesser.

She was the daughter of the late Edmee and Stanislaus Waguespack and sister of Stan Waguespack Jr., Mildred Hymel, Gladys Sulm, Eunice Gramier,Marjorie Schmidt and the late Harold and Jess Waguespack and Enola McLachlan.

She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held on April 3 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, Metairie, with interment at Lake Lawn Mausoleum, Metairie.

FALGOUST

VACHERIE – Eddie J. Falgoust, 90, a native and resident of Vacherie, diedMarch 30. He was the father of Francis, Jerry and Raymond Falgoust andMarie Louise Rose.

He was also the son of the late Placide and Marie Falgoust and brother of Kathleen Waddell, Annette Gauthreaux, Ina Falgoust and the late Placide Jr.,Lynn and Elmo Falgoust. He was also the half brother to Rodney and the lateTherese Falgoust.

He is survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Services were held April 1 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Vacherie, with interment at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Vacherie.

LANDRY

NEW ORLEANS – Alfred Landry, 75, a native of St. Rose and a resident of NewOrleans for one year, died April 1. He was the husband of the late ZellaLandry.

He was the son of the late Phelmon and Anester Landry and brother of Theresa Lewis and Marion Harris.

Services are today at 8 p.m. at Greater King Solomon Baptist Church, NewOrleans, with interment at Providence Memorial Park Thursday at 10 a.m.

LEWIS

MARRERO – Harold Lewis, 67, native of Vacherie and resident of Marrero, died March 29. He was the husband of Dorothy Lewis and father of Sheryl andGreta Lewis and Debra Foucher.

He was also the son of the late Joseph and Irene Lewis and brother of Joseph Jr. and Darryl Lewis, Mary Howard and Rose Tillman.He is survived by three grandchildren.

Services were held April 3 at Second Highway Baptist Church, Marrero, with interment at Restlawn Cemetery, Avondale.

MURA

DESTREHAN – Robert James Mura, 51, native of New Orleans and resident of Destrehan for the past eight years, died April 1. He was the husband ofSandra Mura and father of Jacqueline Mura and stepfather of Robert Harold, Darren Clayton, Shawn Frederick Ward and Dana Lefort.

He was also the brother of Daryl Mura.

He is survived by six grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at Leitz-Egan Funeral Homes, Metairie, withinterment at Greenwood Cemetery, Metairie. Visitation begins at 9 a.m.

ROCHELLE

DESTREHAN – Leonora Riedel Rochelle, 85, native of New Orleans and resident of Destrehan for the past 50 years, died April 3. She was the wife of WilliamB. Rochelle and mother of Ann Montgomery and Gary Rochelle.She was also the daughter of the late Leonora and Herman Riedel and sister of the late Elsa Riedel.

She is survived by four grandchildren.

Services were held April 4 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Destrehan, withinterment in St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum, Destrehan.

TARULLO

NORC0 – Frank A. Tarullo, 78, native of Newark, N.J. and resident of Norcofor the past 55 years, died April 2. He was the husband of Adelaide Tarulloand father of Frankie, Jules, Fredrick and the late Darryl Tarullo and stepfather of Sharon Mahan, Cathy Jouty, Kevin and Kirk Saucier, Daina Cambre and the late Trudy St. Amant.He is preceded in death by his mother, father, four sisters and a brother.

He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services were held April 4 at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home of Norco, withinterment at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Destrehan.
