MORAN GRAMERCY – Wilmon J. Moran, 77, a native of Brittany and resident ofGramercy, died March 3. He was the husband of Delores Lee Moran andfather of Deborah Faucheux and Wayne Moran.
He was also the son of the late Dewey and Rosa Keller Moran and brother of Rosa Mae Alleman, Winnie Blank, Dewey Moran and the late Wilford Moran.
He is also survived by two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He waspreceded in death by one grandchild.
He was a Colonial Sugars retiree with 27 years of service.
Services were held March 6 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gramercy, with interment at Lake Cemetery.
NABAK LAPLACE – Frederick L. Nabak, 68, a native of Milwaukee and resident ofLaPlace for 40 years, died March 2. He was the husband of Charlene R.Nabak, father of Denise Kemp, Deborah Rydberg, Juie Wolslager and Michael Nabak and step-father of Rebecca Clark and Benjamin Reyes.
He was also the son of the late Herman and Frances Bednar Nabak and brother of Marion Beyer, Mildred Pagel, Herman Nabak and the late Lillian Baumann, Dorothy Hernigle and Leonard and George Nabak.
He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Services were held March 6 in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with interment at Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans.
PITRE HAHNVILLE – Robert John “Bobby” Pitre Sr., 66, a native of Mathews andresident of Killona for 40 years, died March 3. He was the husband of VivianVicknair Pitre and father of Robin Rogers, Bruce Pitre and the late Robert Pitre Jr.
He was also the son of the late Clarence and Ismae Savoie Pitre and brother of Gertrude Bourgeois, Florence Eschette, Emma Touro, Marion Chaisson, Donald Pitre and the late Genevieve Broussard, Anna Mae Breaux and Marie, Floyd, Hudson, Gerald and Leslie Pitre.
He is also survived by two grandchildren.
He was a bus driver for 40 years and owner of Pitre’s Grocery.
Services were held March 6 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, with interment at the church cemetery, Taft.
SEATS LUTCHER – James Thomas “Pops” Seats, 77, a native of St. Charles, Ky., andresident of Gramercy for 19 years, died March 3. He was the husband ofJoyce “Theresa” Guillot Seats, father of Christie Wright, Dee Spicer and Jerry and Dale Seats and step-father of Rose Millet, Dinah Woertz and Terry, Paul, Ricky, Stanley, Isaac and Mark Lambert.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and 10 step-grandchildren.
Services were held March 6 in the chapel of H.C. Alexander Funeral Home,Lutcher, with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Paulina.
