BOUCVALT DURHAM, N.C. – John P. Boucvalt, 35, a native of LaPlace and resident ofDurham, N.C., died May 4. He was the son of of Ellie Boucvalt and the lateLawrence Boucvalt and brother of Lawrence Jr., Wayne and James Boucvaltand St. John Councilman, District 5, Job Boucvalt.Services were held May 8 at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPLace, with interment at St. Peters Cemetery, Reserve.

CANNON LULING – Julius Cannon Jr., 60, a native of Lucy and a resident of Hahnvillefor the past 22 years, died May 5. He was the husband of Emelda Cannon andfather of Tanya Harris and Kadoma, Anthony Sr., Reginald, Roshon and JuliusCannon III.

He is also survived by eight grandchildren.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church,Edgard, with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation begins at 8:30a.m.

DORNIER GONZALES – Carroll A. “Jerry” Dornier, 53, a native of Convent and residentof Gonzales, died May 5. He was the husband of Carolyn Dornier and father ofPaula Waguespack, Ellen Kramer and Debbie Ryland.

He is also the son of the late Carroll Sr. and Ellen Dornier and brother ofMary Ellen Dell, Linda Smith and Ronnie and Barry Dornier.

He is also survived by four grandchildren.

Services were held May 8 at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, Gonzales,with interment at Hope Haven Cemetery, Gonzales.

FITZSIMMONS DESTREHAN – Robert J. Fitzsimmons Jr., 73, a native of New Orleans andresident of Destrehan for the past 16 years, died May 4. He was the husbandof Lynne Fitzsimmons and father of Brian and Kevin Fitzsimmons, Sharon Verret, Bonnie Ford and Jan Fitzsimmons.

He was also the son of the late Emily and Robert Fitzsimmons and brother of the late Charles Fitzsimmons.

He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were held May 6 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, Metairie.

LIVINGSTON NORCO – Alexander “Squigg” Hamilton Livingston Jr., 74, a native of Badin,N.C. and resident of Norco for the past 51 years, died May 6. He was thehusband of Audrey Livingston and father of Joseph Livingston and Cheryl Matherne.

He was also the son of the late Alexander Sr. and Madge Livingston andbrother of Dean, Donald, Wayne and Allen Livingston, Christine Wiggins, Doris Proveaux and Phyllis Hutson.

He is also survived by six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

Services were held May 9 at Alexander Funeral Home, Norco, with entombment at the St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum, Norco.

ORDENEAUX GRAMERCY – Elsie Roussell Ordeneaux, 74, a native and resident of Gramercy, died May 5. She was the wife of the late Larry Ordeneaux and mother ofKathleen “Boo” Duhe, Becky Duhon and Dwayne, Wayne, Cindy and Eric Ordeneaux.

She was also the daughter of the late Olive and Willie Roussell and sister of Milda Matherene, Eunice Breaud, Raymond Roussell and the late Thelma Bourgeois, Lillian Musso and Ella, Laurie and Claude Roussell.

She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held May 8 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gramercy, with entombment at St. Joseph Mausoleum.

ROBINSONLULING – Phyllis Mae Gilmore Robinson, a native of Weirton, W. Va. andresident of Luling, died May 5. She was the wife of E. Wayne Robinson andmother of Pamela Ramsey, Nanette Cheatham and Robert Robinson.

She was also the daughter of the late Fred and Rosa Gilmore and sister of Norma West, Betty McCoy and the late Paul Gilmore, Dorothy Sturgeon, Mary Davis and Jayne Roberts.

She is also survived by four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Services were held May 8 at First Baptist Church, Luling, with entombment at St. Charles Cemetery.

STEWART HAHNVILLE – Richard H. Stewart, 42, a native of Irvine, Scotland and residentof Hahnville, died May 3. He was the husband of Savatrease “Tressie”Stewart and father of Christopher Garcie and April and Steven Stewart.

He was the son of Helen George and the late Richard H. Stewart and brotherof Patricia Jones and Ronald, Graden and Larry Stewart.

He is also survived by two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held May 13 at 10 a.m. at the Stewart home,15126 River Road, Hahvnille.

WAGUESPACK HAHNVILLE – Kenneth J. Waguespack Sr., 66, a native and resident ofHahnville, died May 4. He was the former husband of Theresa Waguespackand father of Sheryl Chaisson, Joyceln Foucha and Kenneth Jr. and CalvinWaguespack.

He was also the son of Moise Sr. and Edese Waguespack and brother ofAudrey Pertuit, Juanita Foster, Sylvia Dutreix, Esther Gigilio, Phyllis Cooper, Lilliam Giardina and Moise Jr., Regnia, Earl, Bernard and Anthony Waguespack.Services were held May 6 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, with interment at Holy Rosary Cemetery.

WARD METAIRIE – Pauline Millet Ward, 90, a native of Lucy and resident of Metairie, died May 6. She was the wife of the late Hubert Ward Sr. and mother ofHubert “Buddy” Ward Jr.

She is also the daughter of the late Marie and Paul Millet and sister of Ruth and Ada Champagne, Lena Ricke and the late Etienne Lionel and Leonard Millet.

She is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services were held May 9 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, Metairie, with interment in Metairie Cemetery.
