LAPLACE – LaPlace Little League (formerly NOAH) is playing host to the 11- 12 age group’s district tournament beginning this week.

LaPlace plays Marksville in the first round on field three Saturday at 5 p.m.The winner of that game will play the winner of Pilney and Bogalusa (Saturday at 5 p.m. on field four) in the second round Sunday on field two at 5 p.m. Inthe other bracket, the winner of Avoyelles National and Baker (Friday, 5 p.m., field one) will play the winner of Mid Parish and Avoyelles American(Friday, 5 p.m. field two) in the second round Sunday at 5 p.m. on field four.Second round winners will meet Tuesday, July 11, on field four at 5 p.m. Thechampionship game is scheduled for Thursday, July 13 at 5 p.m. on field four.If a second game is necessary, it will be played Friday, July 14, at 5 p.m. onfield four.

The state tournament will be in Bunkie beginning July 21.
