LAPLACE – Phillip Kelly shot a 5-over 77 to win the Junior Club 18-hole Championship at Belle Terre Country Club Wednesday afternoon.

Richard Lienhop was second with an 88, followed by Scott Lawless with a 93. Josh Ford shot a 100. Jeffery Salas was at 103, Brandon Lienhop at110 and Ryan Castille at 119.

In the nine-hole competition, Josh Thevenot placed first with a 49. TaylorCrouch was second with a 55, one shot ahead of Ryan Roussel and Mathew Salas. Mark Murphy had a 59 and Laura Bailey a 62.For the three-holers, Cody Malain was first with an 18, defeating Tommy Lawless in a playoff. Patrick O’Regan was third with a 19 with Nik Nolesfourth with a 21.

Kelly also placed first for the 18 holers in the Belle Terre Junior Golf point standings. Points are awarded for each tournament during thesummer with 10 points going to the winner, five to second, three to third and a point for participating.

Kelly finished with 63 points. Richard Lienhop was second with 39 withBrandon Lienhop third with 33.

For the nine-holers, Meredith Conlon edged out Ryan Roussel for first with 26 points. Roussel finished with 24 points. Jesse Beckemeyer was thirdwith 21,66 and Thevenot fourth with 19.

In the three-hole competition, Cody Beckemeyer was first with 28 points.

Malain was second with 24 with Alexis Bailey third with 20 points.

O’Regan was a point back in fourth.
