Dupard, Miss Dabon marry in Catholic ceremony

Anita Jenine Dabon and Willie Dupard Jr. were united in marriage May 20 atMater Delorosa Catholic Church in New Orleans. The ceremony was officiatedby the Rev. Gerard LaPort with the assistance of Deacon Andrea Capaci ofSt. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. A reception followed at the ChateauEstates Country Club.
The bride, daughter of Anita Turner Dabon and the late Sidney Willis Dabon, is a graduate of Ursuline Academy and Hampton University in Hampton, Va.,where she received a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing.
She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ardell Butler Turner and the late Mr. andMrs. Sidney S. Dabon .The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Dupard Sr., is a gradute of St. CharlesCatholic High School and attended Southeastern Louisiana University. He iscurrently employed by G & K Uniform Services.
He is the grandson of Rosa M. Davis and Mrs. Arnie Mixon.Bridesmaids were maid of honor Myra M. Malone of Mobile, Ala., Angela H.Carter of Baton Rouge, Shaneka Dunn of Hampton, Va., Chenille Dupard ofLaPlace, Holly M. Houston of New Orleans, Kim M. LeDuff of Bloomington, Ind.,J. Felicia LeRay of Atlanta, Dana C. Martin of Gainsville, Fla., and Gloria T.Malone of Kenner.
Groomsmen were best man Jermaine L. Roussell of LaPlace, Garrett D.Arceneaux of Reserve, Ronnie Davis of Hollywood, Calif., Charles Dupard Jr.of Donaldsonville, Julius Ellis of Reserve, Sean F. Lumpkin of Minneapolis,Dominic M. Malone of Kenner, Derwin A. Mealy of LaPlace and Henry Wolfe ofHahnville.
The flower girl was Jasmine Nicole McKaskey of Mobile, Ala., and the ringbearer was Justin Anderson of LaPlace.
After a honeymoon trip, the couple will reside in Kenner.
