Two teen-agers booked for crack cocaine dealing

ST. ROSE – Two teen-age boys were arrested Tuesday and charged withtrying to sell crack cocaine to an undercover agent.

Capt. Patrick Yoes of the St. Charles Sheriff’s Office reported that theboys, ages 15 and 16, flagged down a passing vehicle in the Diamond Plantation area of Norco at 4:47 p.m.The car, unfortunately for the teen-agers, was driven by an undercover narcotics agent.

After the agent refused to buy the drugs from the 16-year-old the boy punched the agent in the face then picked up a bottle and threw it at the car’s rear window, breaking it.

Both were charged with attempted distribution of crack cocaine. The 16-year-old was also charged with aggravated criminal damage to property for breaking the window.
