He was the companion ofDarleen Jones and father of Danyell, Raven, Lawander, Chiquita, Reynold andQuinton Balls.He was also the son of Raymond Balls Sr. and Mary McGowan, brother ofAlton Isaac, Elvis Balls and Tyrone, Jessie and Darrell Taylor and grandson ofSolomon McGowan and Lovida Pollard.He is also survived by two grandchildren.Services are today at 9 a.m. in the chapel of Tharp-Sontheimer-LaudumieyFuneral Home, New Orleans, with interment at Holt Cemetery.
