RESERVE – Stefany Ann Savoie and Mitchell Kane Waits, both of Reserve, united in marriage Aug. 5 at St. Peter Church in Reserve, with MonsignorJohn Sax officiating. A reception followed the ceremony at MarathonRecreational Center in Garyville.

The bride is the daughter of Sherryl Tamplain Savoie and Nolan Savoie Jr. ofReserve. The groom is the son of Dixie Fontenot Waits and John WesleyWaits Jr., also of Reserve.Maid of honor was Donna Svoren of Baton Rouge, and bridesmaids were Tanya Waits of Metairie, Jo Lynn Taverner of Denham Springs, Kristie Stegall of Denham Springs, Rae’ Madere of Monroe, Elizabeth Ledet of Luling and Anslee Broome of Fayetteville, Ga.

Bestman was John Waits III of St. Rose, and groomsmen were Stuart Waitsof Metairie, Carlos Bugueno of Alamogordo, N.M., Saul Uribe of Pascagoula,Miss., Craig Boe of Reserve, Jeremy Koenigseder of Mandeville, Chad Stelly ofCarenero, Brian Stelly of Rayne and Alex Boe of Reserve.

Following a honeymoon trip to Cancun, the couple now reside in Baton Rouge.
