Free art classes for St. Charles Parish senior citizens, age 60 and up, are from noon to 3 p.m. at the New Sarpy Senior Citizen Center. The class is taught by local artist and member of the Le Petit Art Guild Edie Corso. Supplies are furnished by St. Charles Parish Parks and Recreation Department. West St. John Elementary Schools presentation of “Homeo and Juleneka,” a play written by Nique Ware based upon Shakespeares classic story, is at 7 p.m. in the schools auditorium.
