Ralph and Mary Champagne of Lutcher and Morris Louviere of Paulina, announce the engagement of their daughter, Meredith Ann Louviere, to Len George LeBlanc, son of Lenny and Verlyn LeBlanc of Lutcher. The wedding will be solemnized Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Hilda Lambert of Convent, Ethel Champagne of Mt. Airy and the late Eusebe Lambert, Henry Champagne Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Oril Louviere. She is a 1996 graduate of Lutcher High School and is attending Delgado Community College in New Orleans. She is currently employed with the district attorney’s office in Convent. The prospective groom is the grandson of Doris LeBlanc of Paulina, Hilda Waguespack of Paulina and the late George LeBlanc and Robert Waguespack. He is the greatgrandson of Eurline Babin of Lutcher. He is a 1996 graduate of St. Charles Catholic High School and a 1999 graduate of Nicholls State University with a degree in business administration. He is currently employed at Motiva Enterprises LLC in Convent. After a honeymoon to Las Vegas, Nev. the couple will reside in Paulina.
