BOLTON
VACHERIE – F. Neal “Butch” Bolton, 62, a native and resident of Vacherie, died Jan. 8. He was the husband of Joanna Lasseigne Bolton and father of Cindy Howington, Connie Amedee, Susan Falgoust and William and Dean Bolton. He was also the son of Corinne Olivier Bolton and the late Franklin Neal Bolton and brother of Marilyn Vitrano, Frances Dumez and George Bolton. He is also survived by eight grandchildren. He was a general manager of St. James Sugar Co-Op and a board member of the American Sugar Cane League. Services were Jan. 11 at St. Philip Catholic Church, Vacherie, with interment at the church cemetery.
CAYETTE
ST. JAMES – Maude Jackson Cayette, 48, a native and resident of St. James, died Jan. 10. She was the wife of Milton Cayette Jr. and mother of Roshanda and Milton Cayette III. She was also the daughter of the late Dolman Sr. and Maude Philip Jackson and sister of Shirley Ray, Rose Bottley, Elsie Jackson, Angela Cayette, Dolman Jackson Jr. and the late Virginia Steib. She was a retired plant operator at Motiva in Convent. Services are today at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, St. James, with interment at the church mausoleum. Visitation starts at 8 a.m.
CLAYTON
PAULINA – Cordell “Cool-C” Clayton, 27, a native and resident of Paulina, died Jan. 9. He was the son of Joyce Clayton Butler and the late Eric Nicholas and stepson of Alfred Butler Jr. He was also the grandson of Berthella Nicholas and Ernest Sr. and the late Louizer Clayton. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Louizer Keys Clayton. Services are today at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Baptist Church, Paulina, with interment at Antioch Cemetery, Paulina. Visitation starts at 9:30 a.m.
COLBERT
DES ALLEMANDS – Eddie Colbert Jr., 89, a native and resident of Des Allemands, died Jan. 8. He was the husband of the late Leona M. Colbert and father of Yolanda Scott and Lionel Williams. He was also the son of the late Mary Adams and Eddie Colbert Sr. and brother of Willie Colbert and the late Donna Parker and Charlie Tolliver. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Services are today at noon at Antioch Baptist Church, Des Allemands, with interment at Shell Mound Cemetery, Des Allemands. Visitation starts at 11 a.m.

NEW ORLEANS – Willa Mae Cureaux, a native of Reserve and resident of New Orleans, died Jan. 7. She was the former wife of the late Alvin Cureaux Sr., mother of Melissa Jones, Vondakay Melton, Kimberly, Alvin Jr. and the late Keith Cureaux and stepmother of Munson Sims, D’etta Picou and Samantha Badon. She was also the daughter of the late Evelina, Dorothy and Victor Bright Sr. and sister of Berry Devare, Dianne Johnson, Barbara Mitchell, Sylvia James, Gwendolyn Juniors, Mary Nelson, Shirley Woodland, Lori Reid, Geraldine, Ulysses and Herman Bright and the late Peggy Hawkins, Jesse Grace Sr. and Victor Bright Jr. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services are today at 11 a.m. at New Testament Baptist Church, New Orleans, with interment at Providence Memorial Park. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.
MILLET
GARYVILLE – Lucille Marie “Lucy” Millet, 84, a native and resident of Mt. Airy, died Jan. 9. She was the daughter of the late Sidney Sr. and Adele Petit Millet and sister of Theresa Berthelot and Jerome, Godfrey and the late Sidney Millet Jr. She was a former postmistress of the Mt. Airy Post Office for 20 years. Services were Jan. 12 at St. Hubert Catholic Church, Garyville, with interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.
MITCHELL
LAPLACE – Jamar Carvell Mitchell, 23, a native and resident of LaPlace, died Jan. 6. He was the son of Donald and Brenda Vinnett Mitchell and brother of Gayland and Trent Mitchell. He was also the grandson of Marjorie Vinnett and Leona Jones. Services are today at 10 a.m. at New Wine Christian Fellowship, LaPlace, with interment at Providence Resthaven Cemetery, LaPlace. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.
MORRIS
MT. AIRY – Sydonnia Morris, 25, a native of Garyville and resident of LaPlace for 10 years, died Jan. 6. She was the mother of Joi Morris and Jasmin and Jontrey Esko. She was also the daughter of Lester Sr. and Linda Morris Esko and sister of Shannon Florent, Sandra Taylor, Lester Jr., Linwood, Manuel and Kendall Esko and Adrian and Emmanuel Duhe. She is also survived by a grandmother, Vivian Braxton. She was a secretary for the St. John the Baptist Parish Housing Authority. Services were Jan. 11 at St. Mark Baptist Church, Mt. Airy, with interment at Zion Travelers Cemetery, Lions.
PERRILLOUX
RESERVE – Yana Niquel Perrilloux, 23, a native and resident of Garyville, died Jan. 8. She was the daughter of Jerome and Lanelle Gauff Perrilloux and sister of Gabrielle Perrilloux. She was also the granddaughter of Joseph and Ella Perrilloux and the late Lucien Sr. and Velma Gauff and great-granddaughter of the late Joe and Ella White and Ernest and Azalea Perrilloux. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Grace School, a 1995 graduate of St. Charles Catholic High School and a psychology senior at the University of New Orleans, where she was in the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, and was employed at the New Orleans Airport Hilton. Services are today at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Reserve, with interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.
