CASTLEBERRY

METAIRIE – Rosalie S. Castleberry, 83, a native of Gramercy and resident of Kenner for 40 years, died July 19. She was the mother of Stephen Castleberry and stepmother of Sandra Paul and V.E. Castleberry.She was a graduate of Hahnville High School.Services were July 23 in the chapel of Lake Lawn Funeral Home, Metairie, with interment at Metairie Cemetery.DURR
METAIRIE – William Rex Durr, 87, a native of New Orleans and resident of Destrehan, died July 19. He was the husband of Lavinia Mahl Durr and father of Shirley Carmouche.He was the son of the late William and Fredericha Dell Durr and brother of Anna, Hilda and the late Catherine, Ruth, Margurite, Vera, Gladys, Robert, Alvin and Henry Durr.He is survived by one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.Private services and interment were held.FREDERIC
CONVENT – Camille Leroy Frederic, 73, a native and resident of Convent, died July 19. He was the husband of Yvette Mire Frederic and father of Gwen Schexnayder and Patrick Frederic.He was the brother of Marjorie Goubert.He is also survived by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Services were July 23 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Convent, with interment at the church cemetery.HENRY
HAHNVILLE – Mary Antonio Henry, 75, a former resident of Oakland, Calif., and resident of Killona, died July 17. She was the wife of the late Rufus Charles Henry.She was the daughter of the late Tony and Azalia Bartholomew Rice and sister of Theresa Rice and the late Margaret Humphrey, Hilda James and Ida Johnson.Services were July 23 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, with interment at the church cemetery, Taft. METAIRIE – Patria “Pat” Jones, 53, a native of Orange County, Calif, and resident of LaPlace for 16 years, died July 20. She was the mother of Genevieve “Jenny” Gregory and Kevin Jones.She was the sister of Floranna Fishback, Pamela Silcox and Bruce Ingham.She is also survived by one grandchild.Fraveside services were July 21 at Providence Memorial Park, Metairie.

LAPLACE – Robert P. Krause Sr., 63, a native of Kenner and resident of LaPlace for three years, died July 19. He was the husband by first marriage of Barbara Smith and husband by second marriage of Valerie Krause and father of Holly Deland and Brenda, Robert Jr. and Joseph Krause.He is survived by 10 grandchildren.He was a retired firefighter for the City of Kenner after 25 years of service and a Jefferson Parish sheriffs deputy for 16 years.Services were July 21 in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace.LEWIS
NEW ORLEANS – Maurice “Moe” “Morris” Lewis, 71, a native of Vacherie and resident of New Orleans for 31 years, died July 17. He was the husband of Hilda Lasserre Lewis and father of Monique, Kristy and Maurice Lewis.He was the brother of Viola Bartholomew, Gloria Medious, Claudia Aldridge, Dorothy McGraw, Doretha Black and Albert and Claude Lewis.He graduated from Southern University and was an U.S. Army veteran of Korea, where he received the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation and five Bronze Stars.Services were July 21 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, New Orleans, with interment at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
