Confession is so powerful that it changes the heart of a sinner when he hears the gospel and believes. Confession willl redirect a sinner from the pathway of hell to eternal life with Christ.

Romans10:9-10 says that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth the bible says that He spoke everything into existence.Everything that we see is in existence because God said it and it was so. That is how powerful confession is.

We have been given the same power to speak those things that be not as though they were Romans 4:17.

Proverbs 18:21 says Death and life is in the power of the tongue. Whatever we speak we shall surely have.

Even the centurion knew the power of faith filled words and the authority to use them. When his servant was sick he went to see Jesus and ask Him to speak the word only because he knew that if Jesus spoke healing then healing would take place in his servant’s body.Matt 8:9.

Through Jesus Christ the believer have been given the authority and the power to speak by faith those things which we desire according to the word.

Let us begin to daily confess the word of God over our lives, the lives of our children,family members, community,our leaders, schools and every area of concern.

God has a word for every situation that concerns us. His word is true and He is able to bring it to pass in our lives.

But we have to believe it (you know you won’t confess what you don’t believe) so if we find ourselves speaking negativeley or confessing the problem more than we confess the word then that let’s us know that we don’t beleive that the word can change things. When this happenswe should check our faith level.

And begin to repent for doubting God and his promises be restored and begin to confess the answer and not the problem.
