HAHNVILLE – On May 6, millions of people across the United States will unite in prayer, remembering our Armed Forces, our leaders and our nation.

The 53rd Annual National Day of Prayer will be recognized at noon on the grounds of the St. Charles Courthouse in Hahnville.

Included in the event are the NOAH Band, which will begin at 11:30 a.m.; and the Community Chorus.

Also attending will be parish leaders, area pastors, VFW members, and Hahnville Volunteer firefighters, among others.

Atendees are urged to bring their lawn chairs. Refreshments will be available, courtesy of McDonalds, Majoria’s, VFW Auxiliary, Wal Mart, Wendy’s and Winn-Dixie.
