Riverside Academy Elementary’s basketball league will be starting soon and is open kids ages seven through 12 years of age from all area schools.
Registration will take place Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. at the Rebel gym. Practice will take place Nov. 17th and Nov. 18th from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Registration fee is $20 and includes a t-shirt.
Registration forms and fees can be returned to the school by Nov. 17th or they may be accepted during the registration period before the first practice. All checks should be made payable to Riverside Academy.
Every child registered by Nov. 17th will be eligible to win two free tickets to the Riverside-St. Charles basketball game on Dec. 1 at the New Orleans Arena and the Hornets game vs. the Sacramento Kings the same night.

DESTREHAN – Young basketball players looking for a chance to upgrade their skills, and find something fun to do on Thanksgiving week, have a great opportunity at Destrehan High School.
Head boys basketball coach Joe Schick is holding the Destrehan Thanksgivinig Basketball Camp at the school gymnasium on Monday through Wednesday, Nov. 22-24.
The camp is open for boys and girls, ages 6-14, and will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon each day.
