NATCHITOCHES – Reserve Christian’s Sarah DiCharry had an outstanding performance at the class-B state cross country meet held here this past week as she returned home with the 13th place finish in the state.

DiCharry, a senior for the Eagles, had a time of 22:04 in the three mile race, running on one of the toughest courses she had seen this year with the hills of north Louisiana greeting her.

“Even though the hills were a tougher course than what we usually run on down here, I actually liked it,” she said. “When I first finished the race I was a little disappointed with my time, but now that I’ve had some time to think about it, I’m pretty pleased to have taken 13th in the state.”

This is only the second year of running cross country for DiCharry.
