Hunting courses offered

A Hunter Education course is being offered in St. John Parish. Hunter Education is one program offered by the Education Section within the Wildlife Division of the La. Dept. Of Wildlife and Fisheries.

Anyone can participate in the basic student course, but only those persons 10-years or older are eligible for certification.

This is a free course.

Courses are taught by Hunter Education staff and volunteer instructors. In St. John Parish, the course will run from Sept. 28-30 and October 1-2 and 26-30 from 5:30-9pm in LaPlace. For more info, call 652-7058.
