LAPLACE – James “Biggy Rat” Gray Sr., 52, a native and resident of LaPlace, died May 24.
He was the husband of Dianne S. Gray.
He is survived by his children James Jr., Bridget Robertson and Leggerd Gray.
He is also survived by his siblings Edward Paul Jr., Eric Sr. and Richard Gray, Elmelda Pierce, Laura Campbell and Frank Paul and five godchildren Laytoya VanZant, Tyna Aubert, Ebony Chantell and Mary Gray.
Services were held Monday at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church, LaPlace, with interment in the Montz Cemetery, LaPlace.
VANCE
LUTCHER – Harold “Harro” Vance, 58, a native and resident of LaPlace, died May 25. He was the son of the late William Vance Sr. and Mildred Poche.
He is survived by his daughter Deberielle Jackson.
He is also survived by his siblings Bessie Mae Poche, Barbara Ann Poche, James Edward, Donald Ray and Solomon Poche and stepbrothers Larry and Wilbert Walker.
Services were held May 28 at the Israelite Baptist Church, Lutcher, with interment in he St. Michael Cemetery, Convent.
LOUSTEAU
GRAMERCY – Lee Joseph Lousteau, 85, a native and resident of Gramercy, died May 29. He was the husband of the late Bertha Rome Lousteau.He is survived by his daughter Irene L. and her husband Raymond Poche Sr.
He is also survived by his sister Bernadette Thompson, two grandchildren Raymond (Ginger) Poche Jr. and Shannon Poche, and three great-grandchildren Philip, Sydney and Ruston Poche.
Services will be held today at 1 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gramercy, with interment in the St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina.
H.C. Alexander Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. at the church.
SENIA
DESTREHAN – Yvonne Duffy Senia, 73, a native of Greenfield, Missouri and a resident of Destrehan, died May 26. She was the wife of Rocco A. Senia.
She is survived by her children Steven Cox, Danny Cox, Robin Cole and Vickie Barthel.
She is also survived by her stepdaughter Rhonda Watson, her brother Max Duffy, sisters Phyllis Hunt and Kay Meyers, 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services were held May 31 at the L.A. Muhleison and Son Funeral Home, Kenner, with private interment.
TAMBURELLO
NEW SARPY – Norman G. Tamburello, 75,a native and resident of New Sarpy, died May 26. He was the husband of Helen T. Tamburello.
He is survived by his children Philip (Lorraine) Tamburello, Michael Tamburello Sr. and Sheila (Mickey) Cadow.
He is also survived by his brothers Joseph and Victor Tamburello, sisters Mary T. St. Martin, Lena T. Smagacz and Carrie T. Bourque, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held today at 9 a.m. at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan, with interment in the St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum.
