The teams of district 12-B are starting to feel the wrath of Reserve Christian.

Exhibit A: a 114-51 shellacking of Mt. Hermon Friday night.

Behind all-everything Demond “Tweetie” Carter who scored 34 points, the Eagles remained perfect in district play.

In addition to Carter’s 34, Kevin Branch added 16, Justin Porter added 16, Tino Brozos added 12 and Demetruis Akseheroglon added 11.

Eagles head coach Tim Byrd said his team just came out and was on fire from the very start.

“We were firing on all cylinders,” Byrd said. “We didn’t press them, we just played really solid man defense. Our team is really focused on the stretch run. We are going out there and playing with a purpose for the end of the season.

“We are putting forth a real good effort. They have got focused intensity and are really shooting the ball well, particularly in this game.”

The Eagles head coach said his team just had one of those nights where everything they were throwing up was seeming to find the bottom of the basket.

“Everyone was just hot,” Byrd said. “Porter was a perfect four-for-four from the 3-point line. He’s our center. We just shot a very high percentage and the ball was just going in from everywhere.

The Eagles remain in district play this week. After taking on Houma Christian yesterday, they welcome Northlake Christian to the Nest for a 7:30 tip-off. The game against Northlake will conclude district 12-B action for Reserve. The Eagles conclude the season with three out-of-district games and a trip to Houston to take on Livingstone (TX).
