NEW SARPY- A New Sarpy man has been arrested and charged with two counts of molestation of a juvenile after an warrant was issued for his arrest.

According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, Donald J. Sardenga, Sr., 61, of 345 West Easy St, New Sarpy, was arrested on a warrant issued on October 11 for inappropriately fondling a four year-old and a seven year-old. The mother of the two children received information from her children that the molestation had occurred and she subsequently reported the crime to the sheriff’s office.
