DESTREHAN-James Edward Henry, 51, of Destrehan on Thursday Sept. 21, 2006. He was the husband of Kitty Ellard Henry and father of Kathleen Claire and Rachel Lee Henry and son of Lila Harlow Henry and Hunter Henry Hymel and brother of Hunter W. and Rob L. Henry.

Services were held Monday Sept. 25, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from First Baptist Church of Kenner.

Hymel

RESERVE-Albin Joseph Hymel, 89 of Reserve, on Friday, Sept 22, 2006. He was the husband of Anne Falgoust Hymel and father of Julie H. Brady, Linda H. Brady, Rosalind H. Rousselle and their spouses Jimmy and Teddy Brady and a daughter-in-law Beatrice R. Hymel.

He is survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and a sister, Rose H. Trosclair and brothers Arnold and Clement Hymel.

He is preceded in death by parents, Etienne Clement Hymel and Regina Songy Hymel, an infant daughter, son Timothy Hymel granddaughter Melanie Claire Brady, sister Blandine H. Williams and brother Gerard Hymel.

Services were held Monday Sept. 25 at 11:00 a.m. following visitation at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Reserve.

Howard

LULING-Broderick Renaldo Howard, 49, of New Sarpy, on Sunday Sept. 17 2006 at St. Charles Hospital in Luling.

He was the father of Rendell, Kentrell and wife Samyra, LaShanna, Keisa and Danielle Howard and son of Mercedes Robinson Howard.

He is survived by sisters, Jacquelyn H. Gross and Mercedes H. Collins and husband Alfred.

Also survived by brothers Gilbert, Lloyd E., and Joel Lynne Howard, devoted friend Vanessa Jones, 12 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by father Floyd E. Howard, daughter Ny’ K’ Nichelle and brother Floyd E. Howard Jr.

A private service was held at Robottom Mortuary, in Reserve on Friday, Sept. 22. 2006.

Oswald

ALGIERS-Harold W. Oswald, 77, of Algiers on September 13, 2006. He was the husband of Lynettte Braud Oswald for 50 years. Oswald practiced dentistry in Reserve for 27 years.

He is survived by his son Harold W (Bill) Oswald III of Wilmer LA and fiancée Charlene Hoffman and son and daughter-in-law Robert Mark (Bob) And Julia Sharp Oswald.

Also survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law Samuel C. Oswald of Marrero and George and Marie Oswald of Kentwood and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by parents Angeline Guedry and Harold Oswald Sr., brother Donald Paul Oswald and sister June Oswald Picou.

A private cremation and memorial service will be held at a later date.

Donation in his memory can be made to the Louisiana Heart Hospital in Lacombe or to the American Heart Association.
