Destrehan area has vehicles broken into

DESTREHAN- Three separate car burglaries on the same street are being investigated by St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The vehicle burglaries occurred on Ormond Meadows Drivein Destrehan. Two of the three burglaries were reported in the 300 block of Ormond Meadows.

All of the burglaries reported the theft of CD players from vehicles and there was one report of a stolen radar detector. All stolen items combined have a total estimated value of $1250.

Captain Pat Yoes, spokesperson for St. Charles Parish Sheriffs Office, said the thefts are still under investigation at this time.
