HAHNVILLE — The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for 29-year old Freddie Cooper, who failed to show up for court for his charges of forcible rape with a juvenile.
Capt. Patrick Yoes, spokesman for the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, said Cooper is now being charged with contempt of court, as well as his previous charges of forcible rape.
Cooper is a white male, with blonde hair and green eyes, 5-10, and about 200 lbs with short hair. He was arrested on Jan. 8 for the rape charges involving a juvenile and was arraigned on Jan. 9, but Cooper bonded out of jail and signed his appearance bail bond sheet, which agreed to his appearance in court on Feb. 10, but never showed up.
Yoes said if anyone has any information contact the Sheriff’s Office at 985-783-1135, and if anyone happens to see Cooper, call 911.
