NORCO – Russel S. Gilardi, 82, a native of St. Rose and a resident of Norco, died Jan. 29.
He was the husband of Gloria B. Gilardi.
He is survived by two sons Austy and Ricky Gilardi.
He is also survived by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Mary Gilardi and his daughter Susan Gilardi.
Services were held Feb. 1 at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, Norco, with interment in Lake Lawn, Metairie.
GORDON
GRAMERCY – Irma Jean Gaines Gordon, 50, a native and resident of Gramercy, died Jan. 28.
She was the wife of Eric Gordon.
She is survived by her children Ahmad, Marcus, Jonathan Johnson and Jessica Gordon.
She is also survived by her mother Senoria Gaines Matthews, stepson Eric Taylor, grandchild Debrael Brown, siblings Leander Carr, Augustine Johnson, Andrew Carr, Lonnie Gaines Sr., Cora Barney, Jocelyn Gaines, Durwin Gaines, Ray, Mark, Shenell and Shenard Matthews, father-in-law Willie Gordon and friend Jane Washington.
She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents Irma and Junius Gaines, siblings Louis Jr. and Sabrina Matthews and mother-in-law Darlene Gordon.
Services were held Feb. 3 at King David Baptist Church, Lutcher, with interment in Golden Wreath Cemetery, Lutcher.
LEWIS
NEW ORLEANS – Dwayne A. Lewis, 37, a native of New Orleans, died Jan. 25.
He was the husband of Rene Davenport Lewis.
He is survived by his daughter Dewanna Lewis and stepdaughter Dantrelle Davenport.
He is also survived by his father Willie Bailey, siblings Delena Lewis, Denis Taylor, Darlene Coleman, Monique Bailey, Karwandra Davis and Henderson Bailey, two brothers-in-law, 14 nieces and nephews, aunt Carolyn Sue Jackson, uncles Robert Ballard and Therman Ballard Jr., cousins Joseph Jackson, Gerard Jackson, Terrence Jackson and Janie Nuney Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his mother Joann T. Lewis, grandparents Therman and Willie Ruth Ballard, great-grandmother Corinne “Big Mama Epps” and a brother Anthony Bailey.
Services will be held today at 10 a.m. at Professional funeral Services, LaPlace, with interment at Providence Park Mausoleum, Kenner.
Professional Funeral Services are in charge of arrangements. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.

CONVENT – Warren L. Part, 82, a native and resident of Convent, died Jan. 31.
He was the husband of the late Claire W.B. Part.
He is survived by his children Geraldine Hoover, Jerry (Rita) Bourgeois and Nester (Joyce) Bourgeois.
He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marcel and Luce Oliver Part, a son and daughter-in-law Willie and Lulamae J. Bourgeois, son-in-law Malcolm Hoover and siblings Francis and Stafford Part and Marie Loise Siears.
Services were held Feb. 3 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Convent, with interment in the church cemetery.
TEMPLE
ST. JAMES – Agnes M. “Poonie” Temple, 77, a native and resident of St. James, died Jan. 31.
She was the wife of the late Willie Temple Sr.
She is survived by her children Patricia Broden, Brenda Temple-Simpson, Kathleen T. Green, Nelson Martin, Willie Jr., Floyd Temple Sr. and Lionel Temple Sr.
She is also survived by her siblings Ceola Temple, Margaret Williams, Mable Edwards, Martha Domino and Mary Charles, 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Florestine B. Martin, daughter Julia Cage-Freeman and siblings Eddie Martin Jr. and CeCe Coleman.
Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, St. James, with interment in St. Luke Cemetery, St. James.
The Baloney Funeral Home of Garyville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. at the church.
WILSON
EDGARD – Wilbert James “Uncle Jerry” Wilson, 68, a native of Edgard and a resident of New Orleans, died Jan. 28.
He was the husband of Henrietta Brooks Wilson.
He is survived by his children Griselda “Pat”, Kena, Mark and Chris.
He is also survived by his mother Elenore Johnson Wilson, siblings Juanita Grimes, Maldene Gilbert and Jackie Wilson, sons and daughters-in-laws Willie, Samuel, Zell and Cara, godchild Richard Anderson, 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Etienne Wilson, a son Etienne “Peanut” and a sister Martha Davis.
Services were held Feb. 3 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard, with interment in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery, Metairie.
