Students at Ascension of Our Lord School recently took part in sending Holiday greetings to a Veteran’s Hospital in Germany.

AOL fifth grade teacher, Martha Bauman, who is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution which hosts Project Patriot, introduced the school to this special project which supports soldiers in Veterans Hospital who are receiving medical treatment due to the conflict in Iraq.

Students in Kindergarten through eighth grade signed a banner wishing the solider Happy Holidays. The banner will be send to the Veteran’s Hospital in Landstuhl, Germany.
