Lucy Everett Louque, 60, died Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at Hospice of Baton Rouge. The native of Sorrento resided in Paulina. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Logan Louque; also survived by four children Dawn Louque Usea, Chasity Louque, Shannon Louque and Chad Louque and five grandchildren. She is also survived by four siblings and preceded in death by five siblings. She worked for the St. James School Board for 10 years. Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina on Saturday, October 6.
Guzman
Doris Roussel Guzman, 92, died Wednesday, October 3, 2007 in LaPlace. The Paulina native is survived by her son Willie “Chook” Guzman Jr. and two daughters Monique Florence and Katherine “Kat” Robichaux. Also survived by six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Willie M. Guzman. Services were held on Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina.
Hymel
Audrey S. Hymel died on Friday, October 5, 2007 at 7:16 a.m.
She was the wife of the late Herbert (Tee) Hymel. Mother and mother-in-law of Carol and Van Broussard, Herbert Jr. (Brother) and Ann (Noonie) Hymel, Donna M. Hymel and Vickie and Donnie Barraco. Grandmother of Ryan, Vanessa, Michelle, Chad, Casey, Katie, Ashley and John. Great-grandmother of McKenzie, Gavin, Grayce, Savannah, Austin, Luke and Lanie.
Daughter of the late John and Martha St. Martin. Sister of Miriam (Coonie) Marks, Ruby Budai, the late John II and Elmore (Mo) St. Martin.
Age 80 years. A native of Reserve, LA and a resident of LaPlace, LA for the past 74 years.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend services. Visitation at MILLET-GUIDRY FUNERAL HOME, 2806 W. Airline Hwy., LaPlace, LA on Sunday, October 7 and on Monday, October 8.
Religious Services at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, LaPlace, LA at 10:00 a.m. Burial in St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace, LA.
