Velma St. Pierre Musson, died on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, in Lutcher, La., at the age of 80.

She is survived by three sons and daughter-in-laws, Sal and Lisa Musso, Wayne &#8220Put” and Celia Gonzales and Daniel and Mary Gonzales; one brother Franklin St. Pierre, here sisters Mary Edna St. Pierre, Irene S. Dixon and Emelda S. Louque; five grandchildren Joshua Gonzales, Lexi Musso, Shannon G. Blair, Charlotte G. Perrin, Dana Gonzales; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Salvadore J. Musso; parents, Charley and Hedwedge St. Pierre; one brother, Charles St. Pierre Jr.; two sisters, Mercedes S. Louque and Delta S. Louque.

Alexander Funeral Home of Lutcher is in charge of arrangements.

Alice Elia Haydel COpponex, 84, died on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a native of Gramercy, La. and a lifelong resident of Lutcher, La.

She is survived by her three daughters and two sons-in-law, Joyce and Audry Rome of Convent, La.; Alice and Robert Henderson of Round Rock, Texas; and Carol Lambert of Paulina, La.

She is survived by her two sons and three daughters-in-law, Edward and Jane (LeBlanc) Copponex of Lutcher, La.; Calvin and Patricia (Patterson) Copponex of Lakeland, Fla., and Charlean (Dillman) Copponex Lambert of Gramercy.

She had 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Se is preceded in death by her husband Ulrich J. Copponex Sr.; son, Ulrich J. Copponex, Jr.; grandchild, Tricia Marie COpponex; parents Edward John Hadel and Elia Alice St. Pierre (Haydel) Duhe and step-father Claude Duhe, Sr.; siblings, Lester (Pecky) Duhe, Claude (CJ) Duhe Jr., Allen (Buddy) Duhe, Kraemer Duhe, Kenneth Duhe, Norman Duhe, Doris D. Kolman and O’Delia D. Louque.

She also is survived by siblings, Betty D. Oswald of Baton Rouge, Gertie D. Millet of Destrehan, Elva D. Gagliano of Gramercy, Julia D. Sanchez of New Roads, Electa Smith Copponex of Gramercy and Milton Duhe of Grand Point.

She was a retiree of TG&Y Stores and a member and officer of the St. James AARP, VFW Post 5852 Ladies Auxiliary Catholic Daughters of America and Senior Citizens Center.

For many years she assisted with the St. Joseph Alter, weekly church vestibules and preparation of care packages to Veterans overseas.
