LAPLACE – Two men allegedly robbed a pizza delivery employee at gunpoint late Wednesday night, the third armed robbery of a delivery worker in the last two months, the St. John Sheriff’s Office reports.
After the female Domino’s employee brought three pizzas to a house on the 2900 block of Concordia Drive at roughly 9:30 p.m., she walked towards her car when two men, each approximately 16 years-old, 5-foot 5-inches tall and weighing around 140 pounds, allegedly demanded she give them all her money.
The woman refused with a simple “no” when one of the two men reportedly pulled out a pistol and threatened her again before she emptied the cash out of her pockets and handed it over.
The pair of alleged robbers sprinted away and the woman returned to the store to call police, who canvassed the area near 2900 Concordia Drive but found nothing.
The two men were said to be wearing black hooded sweatshirts with the heads over their faces and long black baggy pants. Anyone with information is asked to contact the St. John Sheriff’s Office at 985-652-6338.
