Rebels open district over St. James

Riverside baseball didn’t waste much time getting their district schedule off on a good note, trouncing St. James in the opening innings of Tuesday’s 10-2A match-up before the Wildcats could answer back with any kind of offense.
The game went the full seven innings after St. James posted a handful of runs just in time to stave off the ten-run rule, ending in a 12-6 Riverside victory.
Riverside Tuesday in St. James and went the distance, giving up five hits and striking out seven. Duhon worked his way to his third victory from the mound for the Rebels.
