LAPLACE – The St. John Sheriff’s Office arrested a habitual flasher, known “quite well” by Kenner police, for exposing himself and servicing his assets in front of an elderly woman and her three-year-old granddaughter at a LaPlace McDonald’s on Main Street near Interstate 10, according to the St. John Sheriff’s Office.
Kenner resident Ricky Scott, 54, allegedly interrupted the victims’ lunch by performing sexual acts in front of the 3-year-old girl, then fled out of the restaurant in a Green Cavalier heading Eastbound on Interstate 10 on Nov. 11, 2006.
The victim’s grandmother wrote down the license plate number, which St. John police were able to use to track down Scott, the registered owner. Scott’s identity was later identified by the victims through a photographic lineup and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Investigators contacted Kenner police regarding the investigation, but he was not discovered until Jan 26., when police found him in Kenner driving to St. Charles Parish. Kenner police transferred the suspect to the St John Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, where Scott was booked with indecent behavior with juveniles and obscenity.
Scott has been arrested numerous times in the past for similar conduct, and Kenner police were “quite familiar with the suspect,” according to the St. John Sheriff’s Office.
