Due to inclement weather forecast for this weekend, the 2015 Spring Clean Sweep has been postponed until May 9, St. John the Baptist Parish officials announced Wednesday morning.

The event was first planned for this Saturday.

Parish officials asked anyone who pre-registered to notify their group of the date change and plan to join the event in May.

“If you have not previously signed up, please get your group together and sign up in advance to participate on May 9,” a release from the parish said. “Individuals and groups who signed up for the April 11 event do not need to register again.”
