Kubelka

Joseph “J.R.” (Bob) Kubelka Jr., 73, died April 1, 2008. The Houston native and Destrehan resident is survived by wife Theresa Louviere Kubelka, children Joseph R. Kubelka III, Tracie Kubelka Louviere, Tim Kubelka, Bryan Kubelka, Kasandra Webre and Kristin Kubelka, sister Hazel Fuselier, grandchildren Nasha Kubelka Foulks, Sayra Kubelka, Bianca Kubelka, Noel Louviere, Hunt Louviere, Kylie Hernandez, Sean Louviere, Kaitlin Louviere, Kolt Kubelka, Brittany Kubelka, Paige Kubelka, Bryan Kubelka Jr., Brad kubelka, David Webre Jr., Candace Webre, Brandan Webre, Blake Webre, Connor Kubelka and Claire Kubelka and four great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents Joseph Kubelka Sr. and Anna Barilleaux Kubelka and brother Weston Haynes Kubelka.

Visitation and services were held Friday, April 4, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan followed by interment in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery.

Landeche

Blanchard Joseph Landeche, 91, died April 1, 2008. The Killona, La., native and Luling resident was husband of Nola Guilbeau Landeche, father of Patricia Wilson, Glenn J. Landeche and Deborah Fonesca, son of the late Edward and Amiee’ Becnel Landeche, brother of Elsie Lousteau, Dorothy Thomas and the late Kermit Landeche, Amy Marino, Beatrice Gordon and Gladys Mickal. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, April 5, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Luling. Interment in St. Charles Cemetery, Luling.

Maxwell

Glenn E. Maxwell, 76, died April 1, 2008. Survived by wife Mary Ann Schiro and was father of Paula Hanna, Marcie Lemoine, Glenn Maxwell Jr., Jeff Maxwell, Rebecca Ancira, Michelle Schaubhut, Patrick Trull, Krista Trull, Ronnie Bordelon, Gwen Guidry, Vallerie Ockman and Natalie Naquin. He had 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was brother to Mary Elizabeth Fryer, Phillip Maxwell, Barbara Brown and the late Owen Maxwell.

Visitation and services were held on Saturday, April 5, at First Baptist Church in Luling.

Michael

Enite L. Michael, 67, died March 30, 2008. The Gramercy native and resident is survived by children March’e Michael and Eneitra Williams, siblings James Michael, Sullivan, Ronald, Lula Gant, Loures Williams and Everlyn and Geraldine Michael, grandchildren March’e Jr., March’e III, E’ron Michael and Savion Johnson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by parents Rev. Versey and Eliza Hogan Michael.

Visitation and services were Wednesday, April 2, at the New Zion Full Gospel Baptist Church in Gramercy followed by interment at Western Cemetery in Lutcher.
