LAPLACE – A local observance of the National Day of Prayer will be held in LaPlace this Thursday, May 1 at New Wine Christian Fellowship on Airline Highway.

The prayer time is not only open to the public, but residents, public officials and business men and women are urged to join in the one hour gathering, which begins at noon. The New Wine Church is located at 1929 W. Airline Highway.
