LAPLACE – Start your weekend off a little early and join New Wine Christian Fellowship as they celebrate their second annual WOW Jam.

The event kicks off Friday March 7 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the grounds of the fellowship, located at 1929 W. Airline Hwy., right across from Smokey’s Barbeque. The festivities are open to the public.

Special guests for the evening will be Linda Travani, former member of Peaches and Herb, and her husband Stephen.

The jam will feature free food, haircuts, manicures, and makeovers. The fellowship is also giving away an assortment of electronics, including televisions, Ipods, walkmans, and CD players.
