“Remembering its Past” was the theme for the Agape XI ball held recently at the Landmark Best Western in Metairie. Barnetter James, ball chairwoman, said over 500 people attended. The Krewe of Agape consists of local participants from The River Parishes who will participate in the Krewe of Du Monde parade.

Jarrette Tuircuit, son of Everage and Rolanda Tuircuit, will be Reigning King along with Bianca Cambre daughter of Barry and Veronica Cambre, will be Reigning Queen. The King and Queen will represent Holidays in the parade.
