The class of ’63 held its third class reunion June 28-29, celebrating 45 years since graduating from Second Ward High School. The members celebrated by attending Mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard, dining at Copeland’s Restaurant, Metairie, socializing at Reed Rooster Lounge, Marrero and picnicking at Conrad Sorapuru’s residence, LaPlace. Members participating out of 25 included: kneeling, Conrad Sorapuru and Ronald Samuel, standing firdt row, Janet Bovie LaGrange, Gloria Populus Keller, Carol Sorapuru Daliet, Barbara Gordon Dumas: and standing second row, Olivia Burrell Bynum, Claude Gordon, Herbert LaGrange, Linwood Dinvaut, Fernand Jackson, Charity Borne Bovie and Victoria Roussell Schofield. A good time was enjoyed by all and members look forward to another reunion in 5 years.
