The Krewe Du Monde, held in LaPlace the Sunday before Mardi Gras, is looking for participants to take part in the 2009 parade, which will be held on February 22.

The krewe is still looking for groups to rent floats, groups to ride on self-built floats, kings, queens and other officers and dance groups. There will be a meeting on December 10 at 6 p.m. to discuss the upcoming parade.
