Local vet named to state board

BATON ROUGE- Gov. Bobby Jindal announced the appointment of Donny Boudreaux Sr. to the Louisiana Executive Board on Aging.
Donny Boudreaux Sr. of LaPlace is a veteran of the United States Army and a retired employee of Southern Chem Industries Inc., an industrial cleaning and services company. Boudreaux will serve as a representative of the 1st Public Service Commission District who possesses an interest in and knowledge of issues related to aging.
The Louisiana Executive Board on Aging serves to develop and implement policies and procedures pertaining to the Governor’s Office of Elderly Affairs and its functions.
