Today is the day when Americans are required to have filed their federal taxes … but another event scheduled for today is drawing more attention than the filing deadline.

Today is Tax Day Tea Party Day — TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Parties are scheduled all across America … including 14 in Louisiana.

From north to south and east to west, Louisianans will have the opportunity to tell President Obama and the Congress — Democrats and Republicans alike — that they’ve had enough tax and spend and what many describe as taxation without representation.

But it’s not just in Louisiana. All across this country Americans are saying they’ve had enough … enough of increased taxes, enough of corporate bailouts, enough of the government deciding what’s best for us and how we should do it.

There are TEA parties scheduled in New Orleans, Baton Rogue, Lafourche Parish, Hammond, Washington Parish, Slidell and Mandeville in the region, so if you want to deliver your message and vent a bit, here’s your opportunity.
