Marion “Chuck” Jacob Dornier

Marion “Chuck” Jacob Dornier, 86, died peacefully on April 12, 2009, at 4:20 a.m. at Ollie Steele Burden Manor, Baton Rouge. She is survived by her four children, Benny and wife Yvette L. Dornier, Margaret D. Hidalgo, Marion Alice and husband Steve Oubre and Barbara and husband Charles Wineinger; eight grandchildren, Matthew and Andrew Dornier, Chad and Chris Hidalgo, Michael, Philip and Robert Oubre and Marion Anne Wineinger; three great-grandchildren, Mason, Kate and Alex Dornier.

A native of Convent and resident of Baton Rouge.

Predeceased by her loving husband of more than 40 years Bennie Dornier Sr., mother Marie Colomb Jacob, father Charles M. Jacob, sister Ellen J. Dornier and brothers Seddon, Octave Peter, Morson and James Bruce Jacob.

Visiting will be at St. Michael Catholic Church, Convent on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the St. Michael Cemetery with Fr. Jason Palermo officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family would like to thank the wonderful and caring staff at Ollie Steele Burden Manor for their care and compassion shown to their mother.
