Biggest sequence: Facing a fourth-and-seven late in the second half, Faucheux finds reciever Keith White for a 33-yard gain to the ESJ 10. A play later, Faucheux found Roussel for a touchdown. SCC scored a two-point conversion from the “swinging gate” kicking formation when noone covered Roussel, who was split out wide.

Riverside 13, West St. John 8

Biggest sequence: After scoring a touchdown to begin the second half, West St. John holds Riverside and takes over at the WSJ 5. Joseph leads a drive down to the Riverside 1. The Rebels stop Joseph on a sneak to apparently end the game, but a facemask is called with six seconds left. A play action pass falls incomplete, and the Rebels stop Blake Carter at the 1 to secure victory on the game’s final play.
