The HHS Student Council sponsored a “Sleep in a Box” night in an effort to raise money for the Invisible Children Foundation. Students were required to sleep in a box either alone or in a group. The event was from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. and took place on the HHS Football field. Activities were available for the students including relay races, soccer balls, footballs, frisbees and karaoke. The winners of the “Best Box” competition in the boys division was Edward Brooks with a “Shoe Box” and the girls division was (left to right) Brianna Hue and Amanda Petit with their “Tiger Boom Box.” They received “Breakfast in a Box” from Burger King in the morning. The Student Council raised a total of $750 for the Invisible Children Foundation.
